What do you think "Discard it" means? Toss out, get rid of, trash it . Sure it means all of that and more depending on just what you want to discard. There are many things in our lives that we would like to discard. Right now I'm going to focus on one thing that never seems to be attached to the word "Discard" that word is weight. We are bombarded with ads that say "lose weight" There are so many methods, groups to join, organizations devoted to help you lose weight.
I started to think about the word "losing". If I lost my wallet I would expect to see it again. If I lost my glasses, the same outcome would be expected. Then why would I want to lose weight? I don't expect to see it again. However, 80% of those that lose weight, with any method, regain it within two years. Then why did they lose it only to "find" it ?
I want to introduce this concept, Discard it, Yes discard your weight, don't lost it. Toss it in the trash, tie it up in a bag and put it on the curb for the refuse truck. You don't want to see it ever again.
Revolutionary right? You bet it is ! What do you think of this concept? Tell me your stories about your battle with weight and why you attach the word lose. Now tell me how you're going to attach the word Discard it to your desire to get rid of your weight.
See you on the blogs !!
